The Beni Mrirt Rugs Are recently increased in North-American popularity (due to various retail stores mass production); however the hand-woven masterpieces from Morocco are truly timeless. Traditionally made by Berber tribes in the Atlas Mountains as bed coverings and throws, these carpets are soft and perfect for burying toes. This style tends to be plush pile, monochromatic (although may have color accents), and geometric in pattern.
